Small Decisions, Big Decisions. Cake anyone?

Each day we are continuously making a series of big and small decisions. Each decision we make, whether big or small, affects not only our lives; but the lives of those around us. We are consciously and unconsciously setting ourselves up for success or failure. Therefore it's important for us to take several things into consideration as we go about our day. After all that one day can affect the rest of your life.

Let's start by looking at the daily decisions we make. Each decision is like a slice of cake (yes cake. I prefer cake to pie. Don't judge!). A slice that is cut from the whole cake; which is our overall daily life experience. That slice, that one decision has now affected the overall whole cake. That one slice, now gone from the whole, has been eaten. And although it's dissolved and incorporated into our bodies, it has affected that whole cake still on the plate. It has affected the body that has absorbed it. Let's hope it was good. Let's hope it tasted sweet and was kind to our disposition. Because if it was sour...or salty, there will be a small price to pay now. Maybe a bigger price later!

Over the course of the next few weeks I'll explore the different characteristics of those slices of cake. How each slice of cake is part of the daily decision making process that makes up the whole cake. That makes up the whole of our daily life experience. Dessert anyone?
